21+ years of working in an outpatient physical therapy clinic prior to coming to Inspirit.

My core values are: Compassion, respect, honesty, and loyalty.

“You were given this life because you are strong enough to live it.”

I run our Mobility Stretch (MOST) program, the POTS Management program as well as treat chronic pain and general orthopedics.

One of the reasons I am so passionate about our POTS Management Program is the direct effect POTS has had on our family. Our POTS Management Program is an exciting program for us and one that we feel is very important. A little background on myself: When my oldest daughter was a senior in high school, she started randomly passing out. These episodes then became more and more frequent along with some other “weird” symptoms. Fortunately/ unfortunately, she was given a POTS diagnosis quite quickly. As a full-fledged “mama bear”, I dove right into all the research – trying all the different suggestions out there. We have been to numerous facilities in and out of state – all with the same outcome: try this and hopefully you’ll outgrow it. I never really felt like I had great local support – relying heavily on online groups. I was very passionate about advocating for my daughter and others who suffered as well. I wanted to be that resource and support system I didn’t have. Early on with COVID, I was furloughed from my job so my daughter became my “science experiment”. We had already been working with her diet and had a port placed for extra fluids that she gave herself daily. I instructed her in and progressed specific exercises to help improve her strength and endurance. That summer, she babysat my 2 nieces and was able to keep up with them all day long, “running” in her wheelchair (using her legs to propel her) while playing kickball with them and then going for “walks”, building blanket forts on rainy days and making sidewalk chalk hop scotch outlines on the driveway. As long as she stayed consistent with her exercise program, her flares were minimal. I was then led to Inspirit Therapy where I relayed my passion for wanting to start a POTS program to help others manage their symptoms. I was met with as much, if not more passion than I already had. As a team, we were able to put all of our experiences and knowledge together for this amazing opportunity. We understand there is no cure for POTS and we recognize the limited support out there. Our program was officially launched in October of 2021, but we are continually adding and adapting. We utilize many tools: exercise, manual therapy, deep thermal laser, ultrasound, education, taping, dry needling, visceral therapy, craniosacral and cupping to name a few. We also discuss the following pillars: hydration, nutrition, sleep, movement/exercise and lifestyle. The goal of our program is to provide support, education, and resources as well as research based treatment for all patients with dysautonomia and its related conditions.

Some of the things that I love to treat is Dysautonomia, chronic pain, headaches

I absolutely LOVE the flexibility and independence we have working here at Inspirit!
